How do I...
Make An Appointment?

Telephone lines are open as follows:
8.00am to 6.30pm – Monday to Friday

Please note as lines are very busy we endeavour to answer calls as quickly as possible.

Walk-in Surgery

On a Monday from 8.00am to 9.30am with a Doctor who is available on that day - not limited to one problem only.

Rapid Access Appointments

These appointments allow you to see the doctor the same day and are 'one problem' appointments only. Rapid access is appropriate for sudden onset illnesses or illness that has significantly worsened, or to acquire a sick note. The doctor will see patients according to their medical need. If the doctor has to deal with an urgent case, you may have to wait.

Rapid access appointments are available from Tuesday to Friday from 8.00am to 9.30am.

Routine Appointments

Routine appointments can be booked for the following day and pre-bookable appointments for up to one week in advance by telephoning the surgery every weekday between 10.00am to 6.30pm on 0845 073 0399.

Urgent Appointments (Doctors)

If you feel that you need to be seen urgently and cannot wait for a routine or rapid access surgery appointment, please tell the receptionist, who will need to take some details from you. It helps us to judge the urgency of your call if you describe the symptoms, so do expect to be asked. Where the doctor feels your request is not urgent, we will see you within 24 hours.

Nurse Appointments

The practice nurses offer a range of appointments throughout the day. Please ask your receptionist to advise you.

Right To Express A Preference Of Doctor

The practice operates an appointment system where you are able to book an appointment with the doctor of your choice. These appointments can be booked one day in advance via the telephone or by attending the surgery after 10.00am.

There will be occasions where the doctor you want to book with is not available. In these cases we will offer an alternative doctor.

How do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?

Home visits are for those patients who are housebound due to serious illness or infirmity. Please telephone the practice before 10.00am to request a home visit. It helps us to judge the urgency of your call if you describe the symptoms, so do expect to be asked. Lack of transport does not justify a home visit.
