How Do I...
Contact The Practice?
You can contact the practice by post and fax at any time for repeat prescriptions or to inform us of changes to your details. Phone lines open at 8.00am but can be very busy; we would therefore ask that for routine appointments and enquiries you call after 10.00am.
How Do I...
Make An Appointment?
Please note that not all staff are available for all surgery times.
The Appointment System
Appointments for the Doctors/Nurses :
Monday mornings we offer a Walk-in Surgery from 8.00am to 9.30am (walk in and wait to be seen).
For the rest of the week the practice offers a variety of appointments in the morning, afternoon and evening surgeries. Some appointments can be booked in advance.
The Receptionists at the practice, where possible, shall try and assist you further with dates/times of available appointments and a doctor of your choice.
Internet Booking System
Appointments can also be made online. To make your appointment on the internet you need to create an online account. To register you need to ask at reception for the registration form. To receive the form the practice will require proof of identification.
Right To Express A Preference Of Doctor
The practice operates an appointment system where you are able to book an appointment with the doctor of your choice. These appointments can be booked one day in advance via the telephone or by attending the surgery after 10.00am.
There will be occasions where the doctor you want to book with is not available. In these cases we will offer an alternative doctor.
How Do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?
Home visits are for those patients who are housebound due to serious illness or infirmity. Please telephone the practice before 10.00am to request a home visit. It helps us to judge the urgency of your call if you describe the symptoms, so do expect to be asked. Lack of transport does not justify a home visit.
How Do I...
Obtain Test Results?
The practice will contact you with any abnormal results which require further investigation or tests.
